I was wondering if anyone can help me answer this question please?
John is mowing the lawn and leaves the power mower running and unatended as he walks away from it. Suddenly a sharp shard of metal is thrown and cuts deeply into John's left popliteal artery, severing the vessel. What part of the body would be affected as a result of the complete severing of this artery? What would you do as a first responder at the accident site, assuming that the popliteal injury is the only major injury?

Remember, nursing school is not just teaching you a bunch of things, it's teaching you how to problem-solve and how to think the problem through. This is why you need to write down everything you know about a problem to help you figure out how to solve it. So I'm not being facetious, but very purposeful when I respond:
We'd love to help! What do you have so far?
