Hi! I am currently an LPN looking to further my education/career. I will be applying to the PSC nursing transition program this May for Fall 2018. I am wondering if anyone knows a general idea of the point range that get students accepted into the transition program? I currently just have 103 pts which I don't think is enough, so I will be retaking my TEAS soon. I hope I can get a high enough score to get in!

Hello Nikki,
I am in Transition right now. My class only had about 30+ apply, so we were all accepted. Just have to meet minimum requirments for gpa, teas score, etc. Now, that being said, that DOES NOT mean that is guaranteed. There may be many more apply this time around. Hope this helps.

I hope that will be the same case this time around! Thank you for your response. How do you like the program so far? What's your schedule like if you don't mind me asking?
No I don't mind. Schedule is very fast pace. Two years worth of material packed into one. If you are very dedicated, don't procrastinate on anything, and follow their rules, you can pass it. Working while doing this program is not recommended. I was working but I stopped because we are going into T3 which is the hardest. Clinicals are great and teachers are awesome. Hope that helps.

Hi! I am a paramedic applying for the transition program at polk state in may 2018, for a fall 2018 start. I met with an academic advisor and he said that if you get in the mid to high 70's on the TEAS you should be in good shape. I calculated my points to be 108.35. I have debated retaking the teas to try and make it a little bit higher, but its getting close to may now. Good luck to you!
I submitted my application today! Anyone else hoping to attended in fall? Gotta wait a month till we get an answer, hoping it goes by fast!
