PNPs: What ages do you mostly see?

Published

Hi all!
I have a question for all the Primary care pediatric nurse practitioners out there. I know you see patients from 0-18 years, but could you break down (approximately) what percentage of your patients you see on an average day are of which ages? I’m assuming you see younger patients more often as they need more frequent visits but could you give me more specifics? I’m currently a mother-baby RN and I am leaning towards becoming a PNP but I’m worried I’ll miss caring for babies every day ☺️?

Thank you!!
