Hey everyone and thanks for your time!
I am currently a BSN student entering my senior year and am trying to figure out my next steps. For multiple reasons, I am interested in continuing school after graduation without taking a break. I am likely going to accept a job at Pechford and continue to work while in school for my PMHNP-DNP. I have three questions if anyone has an answer.
1.) I have confirmed that Valdosta and Augusta will accept my application with a pending BSN/NCLEX and no experience and offer a contingent acceptance. This would require me to graduate and have my license by the time school starts in August of 2022 which I plan to have since I graduate May 2022.
To your knowledge, do you know of any other PMHNP programs that accept students right after graduation as well? E.g. No experience needed.
2.) In the Atlanta area, besides Peachford do you know of any other psych hospitals or departments that hire new grads?
3. Lastly, do you know roughly the expected pay I should be looking for in Atlanta as a new graduate in a psychiatric hospital/department?
Thank you in advance.

1. Vanderbilt I believe accepts applications with no experience.
2. Viewpoint health, lakeview behavioral health hospital. Also just check indeed, lot of psych RN needs. A good interview and they will allow a new grad.
3. Accept no less than $26, but psych typically Starts at $30

It certainly does look like Vanderbilt might be an option based off their requirements (as long as I have it by July). Thank you so very much for your input! This was a huge help! I now have a list of three ?

It's absolutely WILD that Vanderbilt being so highly ranked would consider someone with zero experience. But go for it!
