pls advise

my mom met a friend in michigan who is helping nurses on a working visa...she asked for4,000 USD for lawyer's fee and one way airfare to the place where one will work. does the amount of money she's asking is ok? or not? pla enlighten. thanks

Not sure what she is up to but we do not have working visas. And that would only be the H1-B for that area, and MI is also a largely union state and they do not routinely permit temporary visas either.

Not the fact that it is quite difficult to get the H1-B at this time, have a suspicion that they will not see their money nor their visas.

And suspect that the friend is not licensed to recruit in your country either.
