I can try to answer about the crash cart. I don't know what she means by nursing action. Hopefully, this will help...
The crash cart consists of a defibrillator to deliver shocks for coding pts including shock pads, EKG pads. There are advanced cardiac life support medications (ACLS) - Vasopressors (epinephrine, atropine), anti-arrhythmics, Sodium Bicarb, IV fluids and tubing. There is an airway drawer (oral airways, carbon dioxide detectors for intubated pt), Bag Valve Mask or BVM for bagging patients, an oxygen tank. There is a code sheet for recording.
I guess the responsibilities are learning the drawers, doing self test on defib box daily and making sure always plugged in, making sure O2 tank is filled, pads are stocked, drawers are stocked, the med drawer has a key lock on it. Hope that helps
