Thank you so much for your quick response. :yelclap:I know when I took the class years ago, the instucter provided us with a pretty thorough list of all the abbreviations a CNA could possibly use. It would be so awesome if you would be able to get that for me. :thankya:Thank you again!:icon_hug:

Hello! My name is Angie.
I am brand new to this web site, thought not to the nursing field...
Several years ago, I took the CNA course free through a nursing home. I haven't been active in the medical field for quite some time and have allowed my certification to lapse. I have been preparing to challenge the test for the past month on my own. I found the Free Video Lessons one day by accident and I have to say... :bow:YES!!! :bow:YES!!! :bow:YES!!! I have finished all of the video's and taken a few of the practice exams online. My scores were in the high 80s, which I know is passing, but I can't help but feel like the residents I would be caring for deserve better than that. So, I have been surfing the web, looking for more great finds like the videos. What I could REALLY use right now, is a list of commonly used medical term abbreviations. If anyone knows where I can find such a list, :plsebeg: let me know. As well, if you have any suggested web sites to help prepare me a little better for my career in health care, that also would be greatly appreciated. :tku: and good luck to all of you as I am sure you will all be great!:balloons:
