Please HELP!!! Passed NCLEX but still worried on getting the license

Published

hi guys,

i hope someone can help me.

i passed my nclex-rn last thursday. i checked my name on ny office of profession online verification everyday but my name doesn't come out. they said in their website that they update their list everyday. i know it's a little bit early and they told me that it will take 3-4 weeks before they release a license number. based on your experience guys, how long did it take to received your license in the mail after you passed nclex? does it really take a month?!

i also have question about the (cgfns) cvs for ny. my license application is for new york state and currently on the move to rhode island. i'm starting to gather the requirements for endorsement. one of their requirements is the cgfns. they told me that i just need to show them the sealed verification form from ny that cgfns already checked and validated my credentials. did you guys received a copy or form sealed by the state department of education that they verified your were verified? because i didn't received any. and my problem is when i go back (after 3 takes on nclex) to cgfns website, logged in, and check on my status, i was surprised too see "received but not accpeted" on the transcript validation. i didn't keep track on my status in cgfns because ny office of profession already gave me att. so, is it possible to take nclex with a "received but not accepted" status on cgfns? will that be the reason of me not getting the license? :crying2::crying2::crying2: i called cgfns about this matter and they told me they can't answer my question on why it's not accpeted because they already forwarded it to ny and also it's been a year since the verification process. and i'm afraid to call opnysed because they might hold my license and/or forfeit my passing nclex results.:crying2:

please help me guys, i made my research but i can't really find an answer. and i'm desperate to get a job asap.

should i call opnysed? or wait 3-4 weeks to get my license in the mail?!:crying2::crying2::crying2:

thanks for the inputs.

I think the board usually over-estimates on how long the process takes. I remember when I was applying for my ATT, the turnaround time wasn't nearly as long as what they had told me.

I am waiting for them to tell me whether I passed the NCLEX though and I too hope that they don't take as long as they say they do.

FYI, I'm not in NY either so perhaps my input means nothing, just wanted to wish you best of luck and congrats on passing!

Thanks..I was just thinking though, they will not give me ATT if I don't qualify right? That's the reason why there's an ATT at first place. No authorization to test if you don't meet the education requirement. That's also the reason why I did not keep on top of my cgfns because they gave me ATT.

When and where did you take your NCLEX?

Did you receive your licrnse nestyjane Bsn?
