Please help so confused...

I am in quite the pickle I need some advice... I am currently enrolled in Anatomy and I an getting close to the end of the semester however I only have enough points to receive a C I cannot receive a C because I already have a C in Microbiology my counselor advised me to fail the final so I do not get stuck with a C, if I fail the final then I could retake Anatomy and replace the poor grade, if I do not fail I receive a C and then am required to take it out of district however the C stays part of my GPA I think I am not too sure has anyone ever been in this predicament? I am not sure if I give it my all and take the final and try for a C or not take the final and receive a D or F to retake it??? I do not know what to do I am so confused. Then I am not sure if the 3 or 4 classes are used to average the science GPA????
