please help! California Nclex passers

helo. i just would like to ask regarding the extension of my Nclex. I;m still here in the Philippines because of the Retro. I just would like to ask beacuse I'm worried that my nclex will expire next yeAR. hOw can i ask for the extension from the california board of nursing?

Why don't you try contacting the CBRN and asking them what the deal is and what you can do to get the extension. I am sorry I can only give you this advice.

I have moved this thread to the International Forum since it is specific to those that do not hold a SSN#.

It is up to CA BRN if they will grant a one year extension or not. But your issue is that you are looking at years before you will have a chance at a green card for the US.

Would highly recommmend that you take the time to do some reading on this site and follow the instructions as to what you will need to do to apply for licensure thru another state. CA is not going to keep granting extensions.

Much has already been written this very topic. It is something that can easily be done as well.

Just to add in to this:

It is the license application that you want the extension for. NCLEX itself does not have an expiration date, but your file with the BRN does.
