Hello.
I am a nursing student who just got a C in my Med. Surg. class, so I am now kicked out of the program. I need options on what I can do to get a certificate/degree in something so I can get into a hospital and work toward my nursing degree then.
I want so much to help people, and as of now, I have no degree in ANYTHING, and my college credits don't seem to transfer many places. I'm so upset, depressed, and confused so I decided to ask here and see if anyone knows programs for nursing assistant etc. that don't take long, and then I can go from there.
Thanks, I know this is ambiguous but I'm trying hard to keep options open.

what program were you enrolled in? have you tried an appeal? how long were you enrolled in that program? if it was over 50% complete or more why don't you try excelsior college. the website is excelsior.edu
it is a distance learning program and they are accredited. i was @ wccc and i needed an 88% on my final and i got an 86% thereby i was dismissed from the program. this was my peds rotation. all i had left was ob (7.5 weeks) and management (7.5 weeks) after a month or so of crying and praying, the lord blessed me with an answer to my prayers. now i'm preparing for the cpne in a few weeks( clinical weekend) all nursing theory exams were passed with A's and B's with a GPA of 3.2. hopefully you have enough time in your previous nursing school to be eligible. now it's not accepted in all states but it is in MICHIGAN!!!!! Go Michigan---- hope this helps!!!
