Hi ! I did not want to highjack passingthru's thread in OT. DH is wanting to relocate to PA and I am wanting some feedback as to nursing up there, pay versus cost of living, etc. Do ya'll live and work in the city or commute? That's a lot of questions so I will stop now. Thanks.

There are a few places unionized. UPMC McKeesport. Allegheny General. Not sure if Braddock Hospital is still unionized. Jeannette District Memorial used to be unionized.

The majority of hospitals in the 'Burgh are not unionized, despite Pittsburgh's reputation for union involvement.
