PIH Health Whittier New Grad August 12, 2024 Cohort

Published

Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for PIH Health Whittier New Grad Program for the August 2024 Cohort. Has anyone applied so far? Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers 🙂

Good luck to us all!!

I think August 12 is when the applications open and the cohort starts October.

Specializes in New Grad RN.

Has anyone worked for PIH Whitter? Do you know how long the hospital orientation is? Is it 1 week then straight into assigned shifts?

I got a rejection letter for this cohort and it said on there I could apply for the next one on August 12.

Hi!

I wanted to apply for PIH but cannot seem to find a new grad posting. Did you guys just check the careers page daily for "New Grad" jobs?

Same. I've been checking and nothing comes up.

Applications are up.

Hi guys, do you know if you need to add letter of recommendation on the application?

Hi everyone, do you guys know how long apps are open for?

Does anyone know what the Post-surgical tele unit is about? Is it like PACU?

Also are we supposed to say which unit we want in our documents we upload or do we just wait for them to contact us?

Post-surgical tele is probably not PACU since PACU usually requires critical care experience before. I'm assuming the unit is post-op patients that have to stay overnight.

For unit preference, the recruiter usually sends an email after applications are closed to let us fill out our unit/shift preferences.

Does anyone have the recruiter's contact info?
