Hi are you wanting to apply for the next part time program? The 2021 part-time program have already been chosen to start Summer 2021.The next window to apply is January/February 2022 for Summer 2022 start and they won’t post more information until January. On the website under application packet theres a sample it’s pretty similar, but they will update it once it’s January, it slightly changes for each program.

Hi there. I don't know if this is a dead forum but I might as well as give it a try for some glimmer of hope.

I applied for the full-time one bridge-program for the Winter 2022 cycle start and super anxious about it. I submitted my package ASAP the day it opened and still haven't heard back from it. TCC asked if I wanted to apply and been asking my co workers (former LPNs now RN's) to hear if anyone got denied from any bridge programs? So far that I've heard, haven't seen any LPN's that meets the requirements with active license didn't get denied so far....

Super nervous and really wants this opportunity to further my career.

Thx guys!

Hi sorry for the late reply. The process for Pierce College is a long one. They will let you know as soon as they can. I would apply to TCC just in case. Pierce College is a great strict program, hince why they take a while to pick who moves on to interviews. Once you go to interviews then you will have to wait for a call to see if you got accepted. Hope this helps! And good luck !!

Hi Bianca, I hope you’re doing great! I was recently admitted into the Part Time RN-LPN program for Pierce and I was wondering if you had or any other students currently in this program have any advice on how to be a successful student in this program? Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

Hi miniadult, congrats on your acceptance into the highly competitive  part time program. I am currently in the penultimate quarter for this bridge program. Though it feels like it's a part time program, some quarters are a bit tougher but with the right studying attitude,  you should excel. Usually, you have 2 days a weeks class and clinical on the weekend when applicable. Typically,  Summer quarter starts with medsurg simple acute, pharmacology, a nursing seminar course and a sim. The fall quarter can be a bit challenging because there is peds/obs, sim and your first clinical. Winter will be complex med surg, pharmacology. The last 2 quarters are mostly ethics, role transitioning and NCLEX prep. My advice for you is just be diligent and you will get to know each instructor and how questions are asked with time. Good luck.
