Pierce College 2019 nursing program

U.S.A. Washington

Published

Hi guys, I just recently joined this site. Anyways, I'm going to apply to the Pierce college nursing program in Puyallup this year. Signed up to take the kaplan in a couple of weeks. Is anyone else applying there? How did you do on your kaplan? The admissions to the RN program is a long and difficult process, but lets hope it all pays off ?

Any information regarding the questions?

It just said the date and time. There will be group interviews of 4 people. Did not give specifics on questions. If you don't receive it tomorrow I would call or email them.

Thank you Lisa! Yes, I plan on doing that.

I haven't received mine either. I'm in the Seattle area though, so it could take a bit longer. Yes we should definitely call tomorrow. Hopefully the office is open on Fridays.

Also, if it helps any, I recommend youtube videos that give tips on prepping for nursing school interviews ? I'm not sure what we will be asked but I imagine those videos may be of some use.

I totally agree with you Ish! YouTube is very helpful. Hopefully we get our mail tomorrow ?

Got mine in the mail today. Interview is August 9th at 12:45. Good luck on interview guys! I hope you received yours @hck77 , letter says we have to send a formal response to them by phone or email that we will be attending the interview by the 29th.

I received mine! August 9th at 8:30am! Hope all goes well ?

So nervous for interview! For those who've had it already, on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being very hard, how would you rate it? lol. Very curious and anxious. Did they tell you when they'll notify who's accepted?

My daughter did it and she said it wasn't too bad. A variety of questions from how you would handle situations at work with other employees and of course your passion for becoming a nurse. Just try not to be too nervous and make sure you speak up. She said there are four people that sit there and ask you questions and pretty much stare you down. Ha. You all find out on August 12th. So your you're wait will be a lot shorter!! Let us know how it went and good luck to everybody. This is so stressful.

I had my interview friday as well and it was fine. It went really well. The interview was 30 minutes and it was pretty laid back from what I thought it would be. Just go in knowing why you want to be a nurse, have confidence in why you will be the best choice for them and don't stress too much. Good Luck!

Thank you both so much for the helpful information!! Hope your daughter did well Lisa, & you too Katie!
