Piedmont College 2015 nursing applicants

Hello,

Are there anyone applying for the 2015 Piedmont College Nursing Class? This is my first year applying, and I would like to know how long to wait for interview call before I need to start panicking.

I hope not many either! It would be nice to get the letters this week!

It sure would be because I will be leaving out of town Saturday night, and I will not have access to my mail until week after next!

If we do get them I will be so terrified to open the letter; should we be looking for a big or small envelope, where big is good and small is bad???

I will be terrified also, I might have to let someone else open it! I'm not about the size of the envelope!

Have you heard of anyone not accepted after interview and if so, what was the reason? I sure do not want to be waitlisted either; only accepted!

I have heard of one person who had an interview and did not get accepted. I'm not sure why they didn't get in.

Wow! Hopefully it was because they bombed the interview.

I hope so! I originally thought that the interviews were just so the nursing staff could put a name with a face but now I'm not sure.

I would hate to find out someone had a great interview and still did not make it. I was told by my advisor (that is also an interviewer) that they just want to make sure we really want it. She told me some scenarios of interviewees' bad interviews that did not get them accepted.

She also told me that they want to make sure your GPA matches your personality; you know some people look good on paper but in person...no common sense.

That makes sense there are some things I wished I would have said in my interview. My interview was now two weeks ago and it all feels like a blur so now I feel like I'm over thinking everything!

Me too! I have been going over and over their questions and my answers, also my body language, eye contact, did I smile....ugh! THE TORTURE! When we do get our acceptance letters we'll be too drained to celebrate from all the stress! Lol!!
