PICU Interview Questions

Hello-

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what clinical type questions they were asked for when they applied to get a job. I have an interview with the unit manager in picu at CHLA for their RN residency program. I'm hearing it has to be very general but more specifics would be very helpful!

I wasn't asked any clinical questions at my interview. I was asked to describe some of the clinical skills I had performed on pediatric patients. I was a new graduate interviewing for a PICU position as a staff nurse- not a residency. Since you're a new graduate as well, I wouldn't really expect you to be asked clinical questions related to intensive care nursing- it's just not taught in school.
