PICO paper

I need help coming up with a topic for my PICO paper I've been sitting here for hours and I have nothing, and it has to be related to pediatrics nursing also. Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.

Here are some questions that might help you move in a good direction:

1. What interests you about peds? Are you more interested in physical tasks? Child development issues? Patient education? Parent involvement? Outpatient care? Intensive care? Care of the pediatric patient undergoing surgery or other procedures? Pain management? etc. Identify some broad areas that interest you, then narrow it down as you browse the literature.

2. Browse the peds literature. Simply browse through some pediatric nursing journals to see what topics have been adequately researched for your paper. You don't want to pick a topic and then find that you can't get the resources you'll need to complete the assignment. Sometimes, it's best to start with the literature and browse through the resources that are readily available. Then pick a topic that you found resources for that seems interesting to you.

Good luck!
