Physics, Inorganic, and A&P?!

Published

Hello Everyone,

I am facing a dilemma. I have a BA in Psychology and am interested in Columbias accelerated program that leads to a degree in Anesthesiology. However, I have to take A&P 1 and 2, Microbio, Inorganic Chemistry 1 & 2, as well as one semester of Physics. This doesn't include the extra credits to make me a full time student. With three semesters to take all of these classes I'm not sure what would be my best bet. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

These are all hard classes. It all depends on your situation and homelife. I am taking my time with the hard classes though.... I can't afford bad grades. Good luck and keep us updated.:)

Hi Precious.

Wow what a dilemma. So do you have to take physics before you go for you accelerated degree or is it required for the anestesia degree. If it is required for the anestesia degree take it after school is over. Wow if you aren't working much I am sure you can. Here is how I took my semesters. I took A&P by it self for a semester, took chem I over summer, Chem 2 and A&P II next semester and finally micro. I thought this was a good way to go. I am sure you can take chem I and A&P together in the same semester. One thing is try to get a challange. You will definently have it through nursing school. I am glad I took A&P II, chem II and stats in the same semester because it really taught me how to prioritize.

Hope this helps a bit
