Hi! I'm a Filipino US citizen and thinking of taking courses in the Philippines, b/c it's a lot cheaper there. I know it might be harder b/c I don't speak the language and the curriculum is a whole lot different than it is here.
-Are there programs in the Philippines that offer Physician Assistant or Radiation Therapy?
-If I take up nursing in the Philippines and completed it. Would the credits be transferable over here? Or, what is the process once I have completed the nursing program.
-What are my other choices if the Physician Assistant or Radiation Therapy programs are not available in the Philippines? Or, is taking up nursing in the Philippines beneficial to me when I pursue the Physician Assistant or Radiation Therapy programs here?
-What is the process of applying to those schools that offer the programs, and how do I prepare for it since I'm still in the USA.
Thanks for your time and help in this decision process.

There is no physician assistant or radiation therapy course here. what i've seen however is people graduating from medical school and go the US and some become physician assistants if they don't take the MLE.
as for radiation therapy, something like it would be radiologic technologist, a four year course with board exam.
nursing - there are some threads here of US citizens who took up nursing and were not required to take the local board exams (being US citizens). however, dual citizens are required to take the local board exams if they want to apply for most BON (not sure which states don't require this).they were made eligible by the BON to take the NCLEX-RN exams..
as for other courses, it really depends on what interests you and what field you want to get into
hope this helps

Physician Assistants are actually required to be licensed here. One cannot work in that capacity if they have not completed a program here for it legally.
You may find some assisting in the OR or working as a surgical tech, but again, not anything that requires a license or certification to do.
Going thru a nursing program will not benefit you with the PA programs in the US, you are still going to need to complete that program. Same thing with the Radiation Therapy training.
