I am currently a CNA but would like to become a physical therapist and work in the nursing home. I tried online searches for colleges and found something on the lines of....in the state of indiana, you cant take physical therapist programs anymore..but something similar..??
Did I understand that right..does anybody know how I can do this in Indiana?
Thank you!!

Physical therapy licensure now requires the Master's degree as entry-level to the field.
Suggest that you check with their licensing body in your state to see where you can go to school or where they are approved programs that would be close to you.

Here is the link to all the PT and PTA schools in the country. Most of the programs are DPT (Doctorate of Physical Therapy) and require an undergraduate degree and many science prerequisites. Usually Anatomy, Physiology, 2-3 semesters of chemistry and 1-2 semesters of physics.
You can find all the information you need about physical therapy on the APTA website.
