This is mainly for those who have been through ODS. How detailed is the Medical exam at ODS, is it like MEPS or just a standard Utox/Alcohol test? Thanks for everyone's time. Oh please don't post negative answers or assume anything. Just a nice, informative post would be appreciated.

Well one of the reasons is that I'm tired of physical exams. I've been through two MEPS experiences and I'm done...

It isn't a physical at all. All you will have done is prenancy test if female, titers drawn, you may get some immunizations, drug test and height/weight.

ODS is 5 weeks long as you may know. There are physical exams if they decide that your previous physicals were lacking, or if you have a waiver that they feel they want to challenge or look at again. There are also eye, and dental exams. There are many immunizations and more blood draws regardless if you have had them before. There are 3 PRT tests (physical readiness test) that you do also. They don't count yet toward your career, but they get you ready to pass it. There is also a 3rd class swim test, 10meter jump into water, and a 5 min treading water test. I have the schedule somewhere if you're interested.
Thanks for the replies thus far, one way to look at it too is it's out of my hands, I just need to suck it up. Navyman, if you could find that schedule that'd be cool, I'm curious what the agenda looks like.
Day 1- paperwork & presentations. (this schedule is 3 years old)
2-awake @ 3:30 am to screaming/yelling. Early morning PT. (this is the only day that the chiefs wake you up and yell, its best to wear your PT gear to bed)

4-class all day, evening colors (flag raising/lowering), duty watch.
5-PT test, morning class
