Good Luck to all the 2016 hopefuls!
I think the idea of being automatically accepted for the BSN program will stay for a while. I have a few friends who have gone on from PHSC and a select few tech colleges who applied for the BSN program at USF and UCF after getting their RN and we're automatically accepted. This is due to the fact that all the curriculum is online plus there are typically no clinical hrs, since you have your RN the school expects you to be working during that time so that is your clinical.
I wonder how hard it'll be in two years bc they just got accredited I believe. probably another long wait like this one bc more people will be applying!!
That's what I'm thinking and the fact that hospitals now are requiring RNS to get their BSN within 2 years from when they are hired.. the BSN programs will get more competitive. . For my job I need my CSM BSN so I will hope phsc adds it to their program or I'll have to go to USF
So I emailed connie lol... asked if the committee has met or when they plan to meet and if she could tell me how many applicants have applied to the transition program... she said "Final letters will be mailed by the 1st week of November and there were 92 applicants to the transition program."

Another thing if anyone was interested, PHSC does not have a Case Management BSN program...
