Phlebotomy in Dialysis...

A local school offers a phlebotomy class for the professional (you come in the last 2 weeks of the class if you've taken your LPN general science classes.)

Is this something I could use in Dialysis? I'd like to take the class if it will benefit me in my Nursing career.

I can highly recommend such a class, no matter what area of nursing you want to pursue. It will help with dialysis (although dialysis graft cannulation is somewhat different, but you will learn that in dialysis training) and is a very valuable skill in any area. For instance, not all hospitals have IV teams, and starting IVs is a lot easier if you already know basic phlebotomy.

So go for it! Best of luck to you.
