I applied to Beth Israel for Fall of 2010. I took the NLN exam on Jan 25th and still haven't gotten my results. :uhoh21: I'm stalking my mailman, lol. He's gonna report me soon. Hopefully I'll get them today. What program did you apply to? I would love the ATOP program but I haven't done micro yet. If I can do it this summer I can get into that program. If not I guess I'll just do the traditional full time. When are you taking your test, or did you take it already?

Took the NLN at Beth Isreal last spring of 09' and did not get in.

I have all the pre-reqs done and I have a 3.5 gpa. The NLN was not easy. I am actually studying right now to take the NLN again this April 10'. Please pray for me!!!

So sorry to hear that NYC Nurse Wannabe. You will do much better this time because you know exactly how the test is. It is a very hard test. I'm still waiting for my results. :confused: Just relax and remember God puts us where we need to be. Stay positive and have faith. You will do great!

I remember following this thread last year as so many waited to get into Beth Israel and the good news at the end was the 7 posters all got into the program. Some had to wait until Jan. of this year but most got into the fall '09 program. I'll be interested to see how it works out this year.

are you in the program cathylady?

jayzelena, for the NLN are the physics questions mostly about electricity and kelvin conversions? or were there also alot of questions on acceleration and power?

There was one on Kelvin conversion and 2 or 3 on electricity. Something like which one is a closed circuit...stuff like that. Still don't understand why we need to know that. Did they postpone your test?

lol I totally agree! They did cancel my test and automatically rescheduled it to the next testing date which is next sat at 730AM! gives me a little more time to boost up my personal statement/application. This weather is crazy! definitely snowed in...

So glad they postponed it. It would have been an awful commute for you and you get more time to study... an added bonus! I'm still waiting for my test results. It's been two and a half weeks and I'm starting to get frustrated. I think I'm going call Beth Israel to see if they received a copy. You said you were working on your essay?

I know meeeee tooo!!!! Man that is torturous having to wait...I thought it is supposed to take about 2 weeks? I love the administration at PBI...sooo nice. I am working on my personal statement for the application...I figure this also gives me more time to work on my application since it isn't really complete until the grades for the NLN are in...

Yes, all of them are so nice. They make you feel so welcome. Well, I've come to a decision. If my test results don't come today I'm going to beat the mailman... :lol2: I can't take the waiting anymore. You're right, it is torture!
