I thought while we are all waiting for our letters from PHCC we could share helpful information. For example, I was reading from the application package that we do not get to select the campus (i.e., east v. west). The school will try to accomodate their students based upon the student's distance from the campus, but they make no guarantees. I was surprised to read this; for some reason I assumed I picked where I wanted (assuming, again, I got selected). With only 24 positions open in east and west, I'm sure some people will be a little disappointed if they don't get into the campus they had hoped for.

I would prefer west but I'll take anywhere. Also isnt 24 per campus?
ABSOLUTELY, it's 24 per campus. As for me, I'd prefer east.

Did everyone get a letter saying that they did get your application and it was complete?
Yes, I did.
I am really freaking out about not getting a letter saying that they have it and will be reviewing them : ( So I called yesterday and of course the lady that handles all of that is away this week for a conference! The lady I talked to said that we should have gotten that letter by now.... I have a copy of all of my application that I turned in still but like it will even matter by the time she gets back. If I just spent the last 2 semesters busting my a$$ to get a 4.0 GPA and then getting an 87 on my net to have some clerical mishap stop me from getting in ..... I will be SOOOO MAD!

OMG, did you hand it to a clerk? One quick thought, have you checked online recently to see what address they have on file for you? Also, can someone else look in their system to see if they sent the letter to you?

The major weight from your net score is the reading comprehension score. I was told by my student adviser that the previous class accepted the reading scores were 88 to 55. Although, I have heard so many different things. I was also told that the committee would not meet till the last week of June and acceptance letters would go out shortly after and to look for them around the second week of July. This is just a few of the things I have heard.
I just got mine today for generic RN. Plus you have a reciept for yours when you turned it in. Date stamped and everything.
