  1. I just got my letter...Im in too : ) I called about the campus and they said that will be decided after we all return our other acceptance forms... Congrats to everyone and if you didn't this time....Dont give up!!!!
  2. I totally agree with you! When you only have 2 different things to look at for admission (gpa and net scores) and the first takes one to two semesters of your life with a lot of work and exams, so that you can do well in pre reqs and the GPA of all of those classes is looked at just as much as a 2 hour test is just crazy! But on the up side for you....it sounds like you did very well! Was your 93 your overall score?
  3. I am really freaking out about not getting a letter saying that they have it and will be reviewing them : ( So I called yesterday and of course the lady that handles all of that is away this week for a conference! The lady I talked to said that we should have gotten that letter by now.... I have a copy of all of my application that I turned in still but like it will even matter by the time she gets back. If I just spent the last 2 semesters busting my a$$ to get a 4.0 GPA and then getting an 87 on my net to have some clerical mishap stop me from getting in ..... I will be SOOOO MAD!
  4. Did everyone get a letter saying that they did get your application and it was complete?
  5. I've started working on the study book and have pretty good scores in the Math practice tests now. Im going to start working on the Reading now. Thank you for your help : )
  6. Yikes : / thanks for your help!
  7. Have you met a lot of people applying for fall with NET scores in the 70s and lower? I did it the first time yesterday and didn't do very well. Im going to take it more seriously now, read the book and go back again. I have a 4.0 GPA and current NET of 64. Im worried that the NET may be what stops me from getting in now. I hope that I can bring it up enough!!!!
  8. Thank you! I did the NET for the first time yesterday and my overall was only a 64! lol Im horrible at any timed tests and have never never done very well with Reading Comp. After I finished the test the lady stopped me walking out the door and said she wanted to see see how I did. Once she saw I had NET scores she said she didn't know anything about that. That was very frustrating to me. Im going to actually read the Study Guide (take it more seriously) and go and try again. Im just worried now, since the deadline is so close. Best of luck to you & thanks again!!! Nicole
  9. I am also planning on applying for Fall of '09 and have a 4.0 GPA and a crappy NET score. I am going to do it again this week. I am horrible at timed tests and I hate reading comp questions!!! lol Looks like theres lots of competition with the applicants this semester! I know quite a few people with 4.0's and some with some good NET scores. Im getting nervous : /
  10. I am applying for the RN program at PHCC for August 2009 and wanted to get some input on what kind of competition there is w/ some of the applicants??? It seems like its so hard to just get a straight answer so I figured I'd start my own thread to find out whats going on and help us all get some of our questions answered I have a 4.0 GPA and did take the NET test today for the first time and didn't do as good as I wanted. Im going to do it again & try for a better score. I keep reading that last year they didn't accept anyone under a 3.8 GPA, is everyone apply at or above that? What kind of NET scores is everyone applying with??? I'd love to get some feedback on this! Thank you!!!!
  11. Wow. Im getting worried now. I have a 4.0 but my scores on the NET aren't very good. Im taking it again before I apply. What is everyone getting on the NET???
