PHCC LPN AUG 2010

what im i going to be alone in the phcc lpn program. where is evetybody at

I am going to apply for the Fall 2010 LPN (night and weekend). Took my TEAS today, but am going to retake it again in 30 days. I got a composite of 81.2%--that science part killed me. I didn't really study so I am going to study my butt off for the next month and go in for the test more prepared.

Hi! I am applying to both the day and night LPN programs. My Teas score was 84.5. I am seriously disappointed. Does anyone know what most people get? I hate waiting to find out if i'm in or not. I feel like my life is on hold until I know.

I just put in my last minute application. I spoke to this lady and she said not many people are even applying because not many people are getting the required teas scores. I live in pinellas county and I didn't do as good as I wanted to on the TEAS but hopefully I will get in.

I live in Hillsborough County and one of my main concerns was that Hernando and Pasco residents get a 5% preference. Hopefully we both get in. Just a few more weeks until we find out.

Did you do good on the TEAS? I wish I would have prepared myself for it, i found out about this program last week so I had to do everything in one week. I applied to the spc RN program but I doubt I am getting in, so this is my backup plan.

I got an overall score of 84.5%. The science part was pretty difficult for me. I haven't studied volcanos and clouds since I was in elementary school. I also applied to the RN program but I doubt I'm getting in. Plus at least I know that if I get into the LPN programn, I'll be working (hopefully) in a hospital instead of waiting another year to become a RN and start working. What was your TEAS score?

Ahh! I got 81.4%. I wish I would have done some research on what was on the test because I did horrible on the science part.

I still think an 81% is pretty good. Especially if what you said about a lot of people not passing is true. I'm really hoping I get in. The science part was ridiculous. I think I barely passed that section. Oh well, if I don't get in I'll retake it in July and try to apply for the January term.

Letters are supposed to be sent out this week. I am so nervous...

Ahhh I can't wait to get the letter! I am so nervous and excited all at the same time. I retook my TEAS after my last post and got a 87.1, I hope thats good enough.
