It's very important that I soon make a decision of which class to take out of these 2. I've heard that they are both very challenging. I haven't a clue yet, but am leaning towards Micro? Any ideas?

I have taken Micro and boy was the tough... I actually took that class in Spring 2012 while taking A&P II.... Not really a hard class just A LOT of information.. Because of that, it was hard for me to really concentrate as fully as I needed to. I ended up with a B

I am going to take Pharm this Fall 2012 so I really don't know what to tell you for now :/

Are they both requirements for the nursing program you are applying to? If they are, I would suggest taking the Micro now and take the Pharm closer to when you will apply so that the information you learn in Pharm is freshest in your mind when you start the nursing program.

The BSN program I am in requires us to take both. Micro first (prereq for the program) and then Pharm once we are already accepted in the nursing program (part of nursing core). I would take Micro first and then Pharm once you are closer to or are taking actual nursing classes. I agree with Briterz, You will want Pharm freshest in your mind when you take the NCLEX.

My college is the same - though it's an ASN program. I agree with shorty & briterz. Pharm needs to be the freshest in your mind.
