I'm hoping to buy my Pharmacology textbook before school in september. It's called "Pharmacology for Nurses: A pathophysiologic Approach." One of the Authors is Micheal P (Patrick) Adams. I went to the bookstore today -the one across William Osler Health Center, but they didn't have it. I'm trying to get some reading done before school. My school's far away so it's not possible for me to go get it there. I found the textbook online, but I'm not too keen on using credit card online, especially after my father had an experience with credit card theft...I'm not sure if that's the proper term. I don't have a credit card and will be using one of my parents,' so they're worried about putting their credit card info online. For anyone who has ever bought a book online, did the seller see all of your credit card info? Do you get the book at the time they say you'll get it?...Like if they say it'll take 10-15 business days for the book to be delivered to you? Other paying method beside credit card? Pardon my lil' ignorance. Never used a credit card before, so I don't know how it is. If anyone knows any bookstore in the GTA selling the text, or if you're selling it, can you please let me know? Or if you know any place where they sell nursing textbooks in the GTA, that would be great. I would like to get this book asap. I don't know any other place beside that store. I know someone who wants to sell another textbook, "Pharmacology for Nursing Care," with Lehne as the author, I believe. Some of the underlying concepts will probably be the same, but there will be a difference in them, of course. And I'm just concerned that I'll run into problems if I get this one and I've to do an assignment or a certain reading in the one required by my school (the one mentioned above). So that's why I'm hesitating purchasing that one. Thanks.

In all honesty, I would wait it out until school starts. Some instructors have a nasty habit of changing texts at the last minute.
Some companies offer the use of PayPal for online purchases. The information is usually somewhere on the FAQ section of the site.
Whenever I've bought stuff on line, usually only the name of the credit card and the last four digits of the card have appeared on the invoice.
