Hi,
Have a pharmacology question.
Can drugs be broken down into molecules in the stomach, diffuse from the stomach and enter the bloodstream? I thought all enteral drugs had to go through the small intestine to enter the bloodstream.

ASA and alcohol are both absorbed in the stomach.
Thanks for the response.
What is ASA? My abbreviation lists don't cover that one.
If you know of any online abbreviation list, that would be great.
Acetyl Salicylic Acid also known as aspirin.
