centers for disease control and prevention (cdc)

a source for health topics a-z (a listing of disease and health topics found on the cdc web site), traveler's health information (travel immunizations), public health issues, and the morbidity and morality weekly report (mmwr).

cumulative index to nursing and allied health (cinahl) database

a subscription service that covers the literature related to nursing and allied health.

drug infonet

a non-comprehensive source for physician prescribing information (product package inserts, patient package inserts, links to disease-related sites and foundations, contact information for pharmaceutical manufacturers).

fda center for drug evaluation and research

a source for new drug approvals, prescription and non-prescription drug information, consumer drug information, drug safety and side effects, and recalls and warning letters.
