a subscription service that covers the literature related to nursing and allied health.

fda center for drug evaluation and research

a source for new drug approvals, prescription and non-prescription drug information, consumer drug information, drug safety and side effects, and recalls and warning letters.

national patient safety foundation (npsf)

the npsf is sponsered by the ama to improve patient safety in the delivery of health care by its efforts to identify and create a core body of knowledge, identify pathways to apply the knowledge, and raise public awareness and foster communications about patient safety. the npsf offers a bibliography on patient safety publications.

a source for drug standards for more than 3,700 drugs, dietary supplements,and dosage forms. the site includes professional and patient drug information monographs and provides a mechanism for reporting drug problems (e.g., tablets crumbling) and medication errors
