I am in the clinical phase of my FNP program and it is becoming increasingly difficult to get a good grasp of pharmacology from a providers perspective...as a bedside nurse I know what the meds are why was are administering them but a provider has to prescribe and decide on the actual medication. Is there a handbook or guide that can help me other than these over priced, 5 million pages (I'm exaggerating) textbooks that I can reference that would be helpful? Any assistance/suggestion/advise would be greatly appreciated.
