Petty Offense and Nursing License

Nurses General Nursing

Published

I was walking on my way back to my college campus from attending a get-together and urgently needed to go to the bathroom. It was very late (1:30 a.m.) and there was nothing open. I relieved myself in a secluded area behind an apartment building and was seen by a cop. He gave me a ticket and I paid it the next day. This happened in Pennsylvania. I was told this is a petty offense (or summary offense) and not quite a misdemeanor. Do you think this will prevent me from receiving my license? Can this be expunged somehow?

Thanks.
