Perioperative teaching/learning advice

Hello everyone,

I am a first year nursing student. Part of our grading this semester are group projects where we teach a specific topic to the rest of the class. My topic is perioperative nursing. Besides the required powerpoint presentation, I would like to incorporate some other interesting and/or fun/interactive teaching techniques so that my fellow classmates will walk away from the presentation having really learned about the topic. Any advice and/or suggestions? :idea:

Teaching stress management techniques to patients undergoing operations. Not only will the patients be able to learn, but your WHOLE GROUP can use the skills too.

Infection prevention is a good subject, especially with MRSA so prevalent in the community.
