PerDiem in Reno, Sparks, Carson City

Hi all,

I am looking to do some per diem, registry, or travel work in the reno, sparks, or carson area. I am originally from Sparks and currently work ICU in Phoenix. I am looking at about 4 weeks to 8 weeks at the most.

Does anyone know of any nurse registry's in these areas ?

Or does anyone work at a hospital where they have some sort of short term or travel positions ?

Or does anyone know what travel companies are used by your hospital frequently ?

I'm just trying to see what my best option is going to be.

Renown in Reno uses many agencies: Faststaff (or is it Fastaff), Talemed, OnAssignment, HRN are some that travelers I talk to have used. Most assignments are 13-weeks, but you never know...doesn't hurt to ask if they'd take you for a shorter time.

I worked in the MICU/SICU here and can most likely get you in touch with the NM if you PM me...she'd probably be able to let you know if they'd accept a shorter assignment.
