I am moving to the Pensacola area soon. Can anyone tell me which areas if the city to avoid when looking for a house? And which hospital has the best reputation for their OB Unit? Any of the hospitals have CNM's that deliver there? Low C-sec and induction rates? Any info about the area appreciated.

Pensacola is a small city with basically 3 small hospitals (Sacred Heart (largest), West Florida (For-Profit), and Baptist (privately owned)) . If you are into L&D then i would suggest Sacred Heart though i'm am not sure about about the roles of a CMW at Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart possibly has more deliveries in a week than the other 2 hospitals have in month, SHHC handles majority of the patient care in Pensacola and the surrounding counties. The best Hospital in the area is actually located in Mobile Alabama (USA Medical Center) if you wanted to work at the best facility and aren't afraid of the commute.

Most people i know Pensacola prefer to live in either Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Beach, or near the Airport/Mall around Scenic Highway. There aren't many bad parts of Pcola but there are plenty of trailers.

Thanks for your info. I didn't realize Sacred was so much bigger than the others.
