Hey all,
Do most NP's get an MA? I seem to be anxious even on non-work days just thinking about my upcoming schedule and concerned with patients having to wait on me.
Here's the background:
About a year ago I started working as the only NP in a pediatricians office. My only experience prior to this was at a convenience care clinic so I don't have much to compare to.
The doctors are very helpful when I have questions, but the scheduling seems to be stressing me out. I see 4 an hour with no MA- mostly same day sick but they've added a few physicals and seem to be keeping me at 4 an hour regardless.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Yes, it is normal for an NP to have an MA. Do the MDs have an MA? If so, then you should, too.
