Pedicures in Monitoring

Hello, I was wondering if any nurses in monitoring have issues with urine etg screenings after getting a pedicure? I'm wanting to get one but concerned about the acetone in nail polish remover? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and have a great day! ☺️

You can definitely get pedicures! Acetone should not be an issue at all since the urine tests screen for ETG specifically. I definitely used acetone intermittently throughout monitoring and had zero issues.

Thank you so much! I just wanted to be sure. I don't want any hiccups, because I have given up alcohol and I don't want it to look like I have and break the trust with people in my life. Have a great day!
