patient care sheets

I am a PEDS nurse and am required to float to an adult medical or surgical floor occasionally. My turn is coming up. Is there anyone that has devised patient care sheets to keep organized and less stressed? When you feel like a fish out of water, it is very easy to get stressed. Any help would be appreciated.

I use microsoft word to make a table with the hours of my shift across the top and spaced for room numbers along the bottom. If I have a med due or some type of Tx, I just mark it in the corresponding box. It sort of looks like this. Hope it helps. I work midnights:
