Pediatric NP job market?

Hi everyone,

I have recently been accepted to the pnp program at emory university for fall 2019. I am very excited about this, but recently friends/coworkers have put thoughts into my head that I will have a lot of difficulty finding a job afterwards due to my age and lack of experience. I am a 22 year old mother-baby nurse and by the time school would start, I will have a little over a year experience. Any thoughts on this?

Good morning - I've moved your post to the student NP forum. Some suggestions:

1. Network with PNPs in the hospital

2. Join your state's APRN organization

3. How does your hospital use PNPs in the clinics?
