Pedi Book Recommendations for New Pedi Nurse

Hello Everyone!

I have just switched specialties to Pediatrics and will be working in a PICU step-down unit. I have no prior pediatric nursing experience and I want to make sure I am (somewhat) prepared before I hit the floor. Does anyone have any pedi book recommendations (preferably that won't break the bank)?!

Have you read, really read the PALS book? There's so much in there outside of codes.

Harriet Lane Handbook which comes with an e-book for extra features.

I used to have an awesome peds nursing handbook but that was many years and many editions ago. These are still my go-tos.
