Tell your CNAs to treat their patients with dignity & respect, remember that the patient could be their family member, spouse, etc. Let them know that they play an important role in their patient's well-being as they (usually)spend more time with the patient then most of the other staff. Be honest with them about how physical the work is & that it lasts all day, not just after their first rounds. Remind them that people are also not at their nicest with illness/old age or whatever the setting is so they will probably see & hear the nastier side of most people. I'm sure you'll get a lot more advice from other posters. Good luck!

I am wanting some advice and or stress certain concepts that new should know prior to entering the "real" world. All responses are much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
