Do you use a PDA in your practice? I'm an NP student and start my first preceptorship in a few weeks. We've been told that we need to have a PDA that we can run epocrates on. What type of PDA do you use? Do you know any good reviews of PDAs for a primary care family practice environment? I'm a student, so I'm broke. I don't need a phone, MP3 player, video player, etc. in it.

Hey there,

I'm also a NP student in my first practicum. I am using a Palm T5 because that is what I already had (it was a gift) and have actually grown very fond of it. As for programs, I really like the 5 minute clinical consult (http://www.skyscape.com) and the Tarascon Pharmacopoeia (http://www.tarascon.com). I use these two programs the most... epocrates is used some too, but the other two are the best for me. I'm in an internal medicine office.

Epocrates has a combo rate on the software and PDA at their website.
