Hello, I am currently a PCT at Martin memorial and finishing up my pre reqs for the adn program. I got very lucky to be able to start as a pct at Martin having nothing but a CNA , no prior experience. They started me out at 9.91 an hr. it's not good pay, but the experience you get is well worth it. But this job is very stressful and I find it hard to work full time ( 3 12 hr shift) and go to school . But Martin also has mash employees which is 6 shifts in 6 weeks . You might start out a lil more as a mash employee because you don't get benefits.

I have heard Martin Memorial is a great hospital to work for, very family oriented. What is your patient load like? Do you enjoy the unit you work on? I was thinking of applying there once I finish CNA school.

Hey guys,
I'm currently in IRSC's ADN program and about to complete Funds of Nursing--I heard from one of our prof's that we can now qualify for a hospital job as a PCT (after completing Fundies). Anyone know what they pay for these positions in this area (PSL/Fort Pierce/Stuart)? TIA....
