Hl, everyone. I am working in a hospital as a PCT in AZ, will move to CA and looking for a job. All the hospitals are require current CA CNA certifitate. How can I endorse my PCT certificate from AZ to CA? Should I take exam again?
Thanks

CNA certificates can be transferred, but I don't believe PCT certificates can. You can transfer a CNA certificate, provided you have completed a CNA course and are listed in your state's registry. You won't have to take the exam again.
The process is called "reciprocity." Here is a link to the necessary paperwork on the CA Dept. of Public Health's website:
CNA/HHA Program
You will want form "HS 283 B - Nurse Assistant and/or Home Health Aide Initial Application." The back side will tell you the additional paperwork you need to fill out and submit as well as fingerprinting, etc.
Thanks so much:p

Some states make no distinction between PCT and CNA. Out your way, I doubt that will be a huge issue. (other than slightly lower pay)
Coffeemate is correct, most states give you no issue with repricocity barring complaints to the registry which are fairly rare.
