PCNA position at Cleveland Clinic

Published

Hello!

I am just beginning to start my nursing journey. Right now I have no experience in the healthcare field at all. I am enrolled in a training program to become an STNA, it starts next Tuesday. But at 1pm today I have an interview with Cleveland Clinic for their PCNA position. I am so nervous because I have no experience and I hope that I am not going to be wasting their time and mind.

Does anyone have any insight on what their looking for? I know that their training doesn't certify you with the state. But do they take people with no experience? I am looking for any and all advice.

I also am enrolling at ATS in January for their LPN program.......thanks

I had my interview and since i haven't completed my STNA classes I was told that they would call me in September and if I'm done and licensed then they would move me forward to the next step.

Where are you taking your STNA training? So you have to be an STNA in order to work as a PCNA at Cleveland Clinic?

Thanks!

I am taking my STNA training at Trinity Training academy in Cleveland Hts.

You have to be an STNA or if you're not you have to have at least one year experience working in the medical field as a medical assistant or something.
