PCMH and WilMed new grad positions

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

Hi everyone, I will be graduating in December from ECU and I have been looking at the various hospitals in the area like PCMH, WilMed, etc... I am not super familiar with PCMH because most of my clinicals have been outside of Pitt county, I have only had two clinicials at PCMH, one was an amazing experience with great nurses, and the other was the complete opposite. I have never been to WilMed, and have not heard many things about it. Neither of these hospitals have a lot of information on their websites about the new graduate application process or when the application will be posted, and getting in contact with someone isn't working out either. So does anyone here have any recent information on new graduate positions at PCMH or WilMed, or know when they typically post their applications? Just curious...is anyone aware of their starting pay for new grads?

congrats on graduation. keep on trying to contact someone at both places. i have worked at both locations. they both have their pro's and cons depends on what unit you want to work on. wilmed is more of a community, hospital where people get to know you...you start to see the same patients and get to know them..etc. where as pcmh is a very large hospital and is a little different in that aspect. great for cutting edge, learning aspect. working close with residents. pay is probably going to be similar for new grad pay. Pcmh does have a nursing residency program I don't know what it consist of. i don't know if any of this helps..good luck:)
