Hi...I know there's a FB page but, I figured why not stay on Allnurses the OG forum for nurses lol...In any rate..I'm applying to the Part time program and will be going to the info session this Thursday. Really nervous and dont know what to expect about being accepted...Any other hopefuls?

Congrats, hun. Did you find out, today? You're going to lake worth, part-time? What are you most concern about? I am worried about being organized.

You know I was thinking about when this thread started too:)...You welcome glad I could help...Yes Im going to Lake Worth for the part time program...My concern is balancing out everything between family, work, and school...

Hi Minnie...did you get the email about registration? I haven't received it yet...

Yes, I did. The email consist of: getting immunizations, uniforms, books, pharmacology registration ( if you haven't taken it, yet), background check, drug test, CPR/BLS Certified and nursing class registration. I believe that's it. Also, don't forget I am going to Belle Glade campus so our emails might be sent at different times. I got my acceptance email, Monday/Tuesday and rec'd the registration email, yesterday.

Got my list of thinhs to do completed...I want to call the background agency tomorrow my info is already in the system since they started the new requirements for DCF this year...

Wow. Already. Only thing I did so far is went on campus, yesterday, and asked what is holding up financial aid. I need transcripts of my W2's and other things. I have an appointment w/ IRS on Tuesday.
