PBSC 2014 Fall RN admissions

Are there any future nurses out there being driven crazy by this waiting game to see if you are accepted into the program this fall 2014. I have read posts that say the cut offs are higher for fall then spring and I applied with 25.55 points. Is anyone else feeling my pain out there and stalking the PBSC website.

Appeals for classes? I thought all of that was supposed to be taken care of and completed prior to application?

I think appeals for people like myself and others who are not getting a point they are entitled to! Also i just heard there are so many people with the same amount of points this year eek!

I just thought that all had to be done by the deadline. I wasn't sure how that works.

YAY,all my points are up and I put my application in on the very last day. maybe they are getting close.

what do you mean same amount of points?? Do you know the amount of points it was?

A girl in my pharm class said that tons of people have the same points!? This could all be hear say though.. That would explain some stuff? If anyone gets their health care point please post it. I don't know what they would do if that was the case???

Still dont have mine. I was thinking the same thing in regards to the points. I think that the points are so close that the committee has to fine tooth comb through every application to make sure the right people are admitted. 26 seems to be the number... Everyone had a 26._____ and remember every tenth of a point counts.

If you think about it, the people who applied in the low 25's and high 24's probably aren't going around telling people their points, so our sample could be skewed :bookworm: :yes: (Yay statistics! hehe) I am only saying this to console myself because I fall in that group of 26's... I'm still going to believe in what Latisha said about aiming for 26.29. :up: Though I guess there is no point in trying to guess... it could be a whole different cohort of applicants this year!

That was my thoughts too. People could totally be fudging to stay "competitive"- only time will tell. Just sooooooooo slow.

Just like the SAT's. I read that the average person adds something like 30 points to their score when they tell people. Lol.
